If you have an interest in the work of Newcastle University, Durham University or the Centre for Life we would urge you to get in touch - we might be able to help you, your organisation, community group or business access knowledge, opportunities, resources and facilities. Equally, we are keen to learn more about what you have to offer - we are striving to make the work of our partners more relevant to people who live, work and study in the region and beyond. We need your input to make that happen!
Members of the Beacon team can provide a range of support including:
• consultations, advice and guidance • support for the development and delivery of engagement projects • information about events, funding opportunities and news in the field of engagement • helping to disseminate information, for example, promoting events • public engagement training opportunities • facilitation of contact with community groups • forms and documentation you might need for carrying out public engagement • help and advice with any public engagement project issues But you don’t need to have a question or a problem before you get in touch - we are equally happy to put the world to rights with you over a cup of tea and some cake! If you have comments about our work, or would like to know more about the support we can offer please e-mail: kate.hudson@newcastle.ac.uk
